La Baula Lodge was a serene escape for our family during our recent travels, and it served us well as a base for nature exploration. Nestled amidst beautiful tropical foliage, the lodge offered a unique experience that requires a boat transfer, enhancing its secluded charm. We appreciated the swimming pool, a perfect spot to unwind after our adventures. The surrounding area provided options for activities—such as hiking and canoeing—which we enjoyed as a family. Despite being without air conditioning, the natural breezes and ceiling fans kept our rooms comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying and conveniently available, allowing us to fuel up for our morning excursions. Although the food at the lodge was decent, we found it helpful to venture out for meals sometimes. The highlight might have been a back massage I indulged in at the spa, making for a rejuvenating end to an adventurous day. La Baula Lodge combines a tranquil environment with opportunities for exploration, appealing to adventure-seekers like me. Worth experiencing for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
